Songman project's first episode highlighted Antwan, a Palestinian peace activist residing in Bethlehem who is exposed to violence inflicted by the Israeli Palestinian conflict. He chooses a caring path, spreading his influence by promoting nonviolent communication in Palestinian and Israeli communities. In the second episode, Daniel Dor, an Israeli singer/songwriter, captures Ali Abu Awwad's challenging and inspiring reality and translates it into compelling art. After serving 4 years in an Israeli prison and losing his brother in an incident with Israeli soldiers, Ali Abu Awwad is operating a Palestinian non-violence center conducting meetings between settlers and Palestinians.
